Debut and Early Days
WINNER, a South Korean boy group, was formed by YG Entertainment through a survival competition program called "WIN: Who is Next" in 2013. Comprising five talented members: Jinwoo, Seunghoon, Mino, Seungyoon, and Taehyun, the group debuted in 2014 with the album "2014 S/S". Their debut was highly anticipated, given the rigorous training and fierce competition they endured during the survival show.
Despite their promising debut, WINNER faced numerous challenges, including lineup changes and hiatuses. In 2016, member Nam Taehyun departed from the group due to health reasons, leaving fans heartbroken. The group's hiatuses also left fans longing for new music, testing their loyalty and patience.
