Who is Sakura?

Early Life and Musical Roots

Miyawaki Sakura, a Japanese singer and former HKT48 member, was born in Kagoshima, Japan. Raised in a family that shared a passion for musicals, Sakura's early exposure to theater laid the foundation for her future in the entertainment industry. Despite initial family concerns, her grandmother's support allowed her to embark on a journey that eventually led her to audition for HKT48.

HKT48 Debut and Rising Fame

Entrepreneurial Ventures and CRAN Cosmetics

Sakura's versatility extended beyond music, as she announced the launch of her own cosmetics line, 'CRAN,' in collaboration with Japanese color contact lens brand 'MOLAK.' The product sales commenced in December, showcasing her entrepreneurial spirit alongside her musical pursuits.

LE SSERAFIM Debut and Fearless Leadership

March 14, 2022, brought confirmation of Sakura and Chaewon's signing with Source Music, setting the stage for their participation in the upcoming girl group, later revealed as LE SSERAFIM. Appointed as a member and joining as a leader, Sakura led the group to their debut on May 2, 2022, with the mini-album "Fearless."
